Mr. Muhammad Arif Malik, Pro-Rector Planning & Resources (P&R) of the National University of Sciences and Technology (NUST), recently undertook a significant visit to the NUST Balochistan campus. The purpose of his visit was to gain insight into the progress of various ongoing projects at the campus, including the construction of the Auditorium, cafeteria, 2.5 MOQs, and more. One of the primary objectives of Mr. Malik’s visit was to physically assess the status of these projects before the completion of their Project Completion-1 (PC-I) phase, scheduled for June 2024. This hands-on approach allowed him to witness firsthand the progress made and to address any potential challenges or issues that may arise. During his visit, Mr. Malik received comprehensive briefings from Brigadier R Sohail Abrar, Director of Works, regarding the status of completed projects and the utilization of funds allocated for PC-1. Additionally, the Acting Dean & Director provided detailed insights into the functioning and operations of the NUST Balochistan campus. Furthermore, Mr. Malik toured project sites, observing ongoing construction and infrastructure development. He visited the Academic Block and was impressed by its high standards, modern facilities, and state of the art laboratories. Overall, Mr. Malik’s visit ensured effective oversight of ongoing projects and reaffirmed NUST’s commitment to excellence at its Balochistan campus.
