During a recent visit, the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) thoroughly evaluated the NUST Quetta Campus. A team of distinguished evaluators, including Engr. Prof. Dr. Aneel Kumar from MUET, Jamshoro, Engr. Dr. Khizar Hayat from PWPDA Lahore, and Engr. Prof. Dr. Khalid Farooq from UET, Lahore, meticulously reviewed various facets of the campus’s engineering programs.

They assessed curriculum quality, academic standards, and documentation compliance, ensuring proper grading of assignments, exposure to complex engineering problems, and continuous program improvement. The team also examined infrastructure and resources, scrutinizing laboratory facilities, safety measures, and budget allocation.

Additionally, they assessed the engagement and outreach efforts, including conferences and professional development, while ensuring the presence of key personnel. The evaluation process aimed to maintain the high standards set by the PEC, enabling NUST Quetta Campus to provide top-quality engineering education while addressing any deficiencies or concerns.
