Hafiz Qasim Ali was born in Hafizabad on March 23, 1990, and excelled in civil engineering. With a diverse educational background, Hafiz Qasim Ali obtained a Diploma of Associate in Civil Engineering from Ahmed Hassan Polytechnic Institute during high school. Building upon this foundation, he pursued a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from The University of Lahore for his undergraduate studies, followed by a Master of Science in Civil Engineering from the same institution. Fluency in Turkish, English, Urdu, and Hindi demonstrates Hafiz Qasim Ali's proficiency in multiple languages. His academic achievements shine brightly, with a Gold Medal distinction in the Master of Science in Civil Engineering programme. Hafiz Qasim Ali also achieved the prestigious Turkey Bursları scholarship in 2018 for PhD Civil Engineering. He was also honoured with the Dr. Abdul Qadeer Khan Excellence Award in 2023 for his high-quality SCI publications. A prolific researcher, Hafiz Qasim Ali has authored approximately 15 research papers, including 6 local journal publications, 1 international conference publication, 8 SCI journal publications, and 4/8 SCI papers in Q1, Q2 and Q4 quality journals, showcasing his dedication to advancing civil engineering. He is also an active reviewer for five different journals that are categorised as Q1 and Q2 journals. His teaching journey began as a Lecturer at the Civil Engineering Department of The University of Lahore, where he contributed for 3.5 years. Progressing further, he took on the role of an Assistant Professor at the same department, leaving a mark for another 1.5 years. Moreover, he has also taught various civil engineering-related subjects to DAE and BSc. Technology students for 4 years as a visiting faculty member. Nowadays, after completing his PhD, he is working as an Assistant Professor of Civil Engineering at the National University of Science & Technology (NUST), Balochistan Campus.
